Position Title: Lead Engineer

Location: 175 Addison Rd, Ste. 6F, Windsor, CT 06095 and unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.

Position Responsibilities: Perform complex computer systems analysis tasks to support customer in design concessions work, following applicable IT standards and working procedures. Participate in software design, development, and maintenance tasks in the project. Study and analyze the scenarios of existing customer Precision dispatcher modules for integrating the proprietary QuEST Web Enterprise Management framework. Perform application support working closely with the customer support team, to diagnose and resolve customer reported issues and anomalies. Architect the solution based on the data analysis to customize the features of QWEM. Implement new custom CIM profiles for precision dispatcher modules and tailoring the existing algorithms in QWEM if required. Conduct extensive testing of new custom CIM profiles from different remote clients. Prepare the prototype documents with possible workable solutions for the new features based on the business requirement documents. Support customers in the integration and issue fixes in the production tools. Work in an environment of developers using open-source development tools. Work as an individual contributor and take guidance from software technical leaders. Resolve previous and new known defects in the system. Develop design and other related documents for future maintenance. Work in an environment of developers using open-source development tools. Coordinate day to day operations of infrastructure group to support production as well as products under development. Coordinate with other project teams for maintenance of application after production release to maintain consistency in application behavior and performance.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or a related field, PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Java; Python; C#; WPF; C++; UWP; Agile; Git; Rally, and; RDBMS. Alternatively, will accept one (1) year of undergraduate coursework and three (3) years of described experience. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30% as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
