Description: A Mechanical Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full-time direct job with benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least two years' experience in Quality Nonconformance or Manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. You will be working closely with the aerospace component development process relating to gas turbine engines.

Job Duties:

• Use SAP to retrieve Quality Nonconformance information of manufactured parts.

• Review Nonconformance of parts.

• Review print requirements.

• Perform geometric tolerance studies.

• Perform structural analysis hand calculations.

• Look up and review prior history of Nonconformance.

• Create disposition package of QN and give recommendation.

• Peer review of disposition packages prior to submittal to customer.

• Close out of package and tasks in SAP.

Requirements:

• Two or more years of experience in Quality Nonconformance or Manufacturing.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

• Proficiency in technical documentation and print reading as well as GD&T.

• Gas turbine engine experience.

• Ability to work within an integrated product development team.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• US Citizen required due to nature of work.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $70,000 to $114,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
