Job Overview:

A Mechanical Design Engineer with 9 or more years of experience is responsible for driving the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components. The role requires an individual who has a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and can apply this knowledge to real-world design problems. The engineer will lead cross-functional teams and be involved in all aspects of the design process from concept development to product launch

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Drive the design and development of mechanical systems and components to meet customer requirements. • Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications. • Conduct feasibility studies, trade studies, and prototyping activities. • Analyze and evaluate designs for strength, durability, and performance. • Lead cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers. • Support production, testing, and validation of prototypes and final products. • Continuously improve design processes and methodologies. • Stay current with industry standards and regulations. • Mentor and train junior engineers. • Represent the company in customer and industry meetings. • Provide technical leadership and direction to the design engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 9 or more years of experience in mechanical design engineering. • Deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design. • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE. • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams. • Ability to manage technical aspects of the project. • Ability to provide technical leadership and direction to the design engineering team. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Good organizational and time management skills.
