Vascular Access – Built on a history of innovation, our Arrow® brand of technically advanced vascular access devices are renowned throughout the world. Position Summary

Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings of machined and molded parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Produce product, tooling and equipment drawings or revise existing drawings from sketches, system models and manual measurement of actual parts with limited instruction using the computer aided design system.

  2. Assist in the training and continued instruction of new drafting personnel on CAD systems and department procedures.

  3. Travel for training. Travel to other Teleflex facilities to review projects.

  4. Collaborate with engineers and designers to detect and correct discrepancies in drawings and designs.

  5. Create "Bill of Materials" tables for assembly and schematic drawings.

  6. Create parts and "Bill of Materials” using Agile PLM

  7. Check in and manage CAD files in SolidWorks PDM on a daily basis.

  8. Check drawings made by other drafting personnel.

  9. Access the drafting work database to obtain information for use in drafting assignments.

  10. Use and maintain plotters, printers, copiers and scanners.

  11. Complete time sheets, update drafting work database and submit progress reports to supervisors.

  12. Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Associate of specialized technology degree with 2 years drafting experience, or 5 years drafting experience
